Drawing Voices are based in East Hertfordshire. Laura Cordery, the founder and director and has been working as a Freelance theatre designer and artist for 12 years. She has worked on over 100 productions for theatre and projects within museums and public spaces.

Drawing Voices are all about layering community voices together into a compelling, collective expression that’s new and powerful.

The visual art or theatre project that emerges weaves each voice and each story together, growing and evolving as it takes shape collaboratively.

Some voices speak louder than others, and others might get lost altogether, but everyone should have the opportunity to express themselves and be heard. Artists can play a pivotal role in this, guiding a collective expression where every voice is represented, helping communities to make their mark.
